Five & Dime sites high above our sister spots Taco Diablo, The Blue Horse Tavern and Lulus, our rooftop terrace has become a true Evanston escape. Spread across three unique spaces—the Terrace, the Bar, and the Shed—Five & Dime blends the energy of an urban rooftop with the comfort of your favorite hangout. In the summer, the open-air patio transforms into a vacation-style oasis. Year-round, our spaces invite you to gather, relax, and celebrate with friends, family, and colleagues.

We are the team behind some of Evanston’s most beloved restaurants, including Taco Diablo, LuLus, and Five & Dime. Founded on a passion for food, drink, and community, our mission is to create dining experiences that bring people together. Each of our restaurants has its own distinct personality and menu, but they all share a commitment to hand-crafted quality, warm hospitality, and a lively atmosphere—they also all share one building!
